Docta is a social project and a cryptocurrency to encourage the creation of knowledge and to finance teaching and learning about Blockchain and other branches of education.

It is a community-driven project that aims to add value, equity and equality for all people who want to acquire knowledge and who do not have the financial means to do so.

Blockchain and related technologies are producing a paradigm shift and will affect a wide range of industries.

We believe that the understanding of this technology can be facilitated and trained on the applications and how to use it. We understand that many industries and sectors will be impacted by the changes generated by Blockchain and will consider their implementation. In this context we understand that we can generate the opportunity for thousands of people to join different industries around the world when they consider implementing this technology.

However, the project will not only consider education in Blockchain technology, but will go further, covering, as the project progresses, other branches of education, whether in the technological, sciences, health, etc.

Docta will not have an initial offer of currency or ICO, the currency is distributed based on the merits of users, writing articles, giving workshops or courses in the community, they can also be obtained by demonstrating knowledge, by taking some of our certification exams.

In the absence of an initial sale, the way in which we are financing the project is given by the support of each of the co-founders, the support of Coala Group and other investors, who with work in development and contributions to maintain the current infrastructure , they are making the Docta dream come true. We understand that in the near future, companies that trust in the project will be able to make their donations that allow us to make improvements to the current platform.

The platform academia.docta.io will offer, since November 2018, free courses and others where you can pay only with Docta.

Additionally, the creation of an ecosystem of solutions around Docta is planned, that is what will really give future value to the currency, being attractive to use as a means of payment in other areas.
