Step By Step Guide To Install Division Using Number Line using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Division Using Number Line" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This program uses the number line to help the student understand division. For instance, if the problem is 12 ÷ 3 =, the program will tell the student click the 12 on the number line. Then it will tell him/her to start at 0 and count 3 spaces to the right and click on that number. The program will tell the student to keep moving 3 spaces to the right and clicking on the last number until he/she reaches number 12, and then click the “Done” button. The answer (4) moves up into the missing space in the number statement, and the program voice says “Yes twelve divided by three is four”

Settings

Select Random Numbers
If this is selected, then the program will choose the numbers to be used in the problems.

Prompt with Blink
If this is selected, then student will helpful to choice the answer.

Display Numbers in Colors
If this is selected then the first number in the number statement will be displayed in yellow and the second number in red.

Command Text
If this is selected then the verbal instructions given by the program voice will appear at the bottom of the screen

Congratulatory Animation
This box is checked by default. When this is checked, clicking the correct number invites a congratulatory animation. This animation runs for ten seconds. Click anywhere on the screen or press the space bar to stop the congratulatory animation.

Divide by These Numbers
Select at least one number.

Select All
If this is selected, then any and all of the numbers in this box will be used. To deselect this choice, click it again and selection will be ended.

Back
Click on the “Back” button to close “Division Using Number Line” or return to the previous page.
