In this post, I am going to show you how to install Panic Mate on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Panic Mate using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Panic Mate" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Panic Mate is a must-have for any emergency situation

Panic Mate is an emergency assistant app designed to notify your contacts of your location when you are in an emergency.
The app provides a non-observable trigger via the device power button and disguises your device by displaying a battery-drained screen which cannot be exited without the trigger mechanism.
While creating the illusion of a drained battery, the app sends your location to your contacts and records audio snippets for forensic purposes.

Note: This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

PANIC MODE FUNCTIONALITY
EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS: Sends personalized emergency messages to your emergency contacts via email and/or SMS on a specified interval after activation. *
LOCATION UPDATES: Sends location updates to your emergency contacts via email and/or SMS on a specified interval after activation. *
AUDIO RECORDINGS OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS: Records 1 minute audio tracks on a specified interval and sends them to your emergency contacts. *
DEVICE DISGUISE: Disguises your device by displaying a non-removable screen indicating a drained battery.
NON-OBSERVABLE ACTIVATION: Provides non-observable activation: ex. from inside a pocket.
NO PANIC INTERRUPTION: Silences your device and prevents incoming calls while activated.

USAGE SCENARIO
The app is designed to be triggered succinctly using the device power button. As such it can be triggered in situations where you do not want to be observed using your device. For instance, should you be a victim of an armed robbery, you can activate the app prior to handing over your device to an attacker. The app will prevent the attacker from using the device immediately, while sending location updates to your contacts and recording audio for forensic purposes while the attack is taking place.

WHY USE PANIC MATE?
Panic Mate is distinguished from other panic-apps by its ability to disguise your device during panic mode and allowing panic notifications to be sent uninterrupted. Once triggered, anyone handling your device will not be able to use it unless they know how to deactivate the trigger. This prevents hostile persons from using your device and preventing panic notifications from being sent.
In addition, panic mate records 1 minute audio snippets (configurable) during panic mode which are sent to emergency contacts and which can be used for forensic purposes or for recipients to determine the nature of the situation in which the user finds himself.
