In this post, I am going to show you how to install Wallpaper Calculator on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

When buying wallpaper it is important to make sure that all the rolls you buy are the same shade / batch number, this is because slight colour changes between shades / batches may not be visible to the naked eye until you have hung the paper on the wall and it has fully dried, then you are faced with the task of taking off pieces of the wallpaper and finding more wallpaper with the same shade / batch as the rest to replace it, or starting again, to avoid this happening it is best to know how many rolls you are going to require for the complete job before starting. Also check that the wallpaper supplier will take back any unused rolls and refund the cost. This calculator will work out the minimum number of rolls required, by taking into consideration the pattern match, wall length, wall height, roll length and roll width. It ignores windows and door sizes but it does work out the off cut from each roll so you can judge whether these can be used under windows etc. We advise you to add an extra roll to the minimum calculated in case of tears etc. to ensure you have the same shade / batch available if required.

To use the calculator you will need the wallpaper details i.e. roll length, roll width, pattern match, price per roll and the wall details i.e. total length of walls to be papered and height of wall from top of skirting board to corner of ceiling.

The calculator allows for 30mm trimming at the top and bottom of the paper when calculating the number of rolls required.
