Information taken from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Pong is a sports video game in two dimensions that simulates a table tennis. The player controls a palette (vertical bar) in the game by moving it vertically on the left side of the screen, and compete against another player who controls a second paddle on the opposite side. Players use their palettes to hit the ball (ball) and send it to the other side.
The ball speed increases each time it is folded down, restarting the speed if any of the players do not hit the ball. The goal is to make more points than your opponent, causing the opponent can not return the ball to the other side.

Pong was the first game developed by Atari Inc., founded in June 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. After producing Computer Space, Bushnell decided to form a company to produce more games by licensing ideas of others.
