New to bird watching? Having difficulty distinguishing between the seabirds? Most books and apps only give you information about the birds but what if you don't know what birds you are looking at? Developed by a young female skipper on the East Coast who was once new to bird watching and struggled with identifying the seabirds.
British Coastal Bird ID does exactly that - by answering yes or no to a simple series of questions it will guide you to identify the bird you have spotted. You can alternatively view these questions on the full overview diagram if you prefer that method instead of the Q&A's. Once you have identified your find you can view if this is a resident bird or a migratory bird from the map provided and from which country it has travelled when entering into the UK, along with an image of the bird and its conservation concern status. Includes 106 wading birds, ducks and divers, male and female in winter and breeding plumage, with simple migration maps, images of the birds and their conservation concern status.
No internet access required.
Available on iPad, iPhone and android devices.
No in app purchases, no hidden charges, no adverts.
Once you have used the British Coastal Bird ID app to identify your bird you can go back to the books for further information to learn all about that coastal bird.
