In this post, I am going to show you how to install Soundboard & Fun Sound Player - Activ8sound App on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Here we go, Activ8sound has just reached another level!

Activ8sound is fully tablet-optimised, includes new and improved features and comes preloaded with awesome electronic sound effects including a TR-808 influenced drum machine, added only recently as a new separate page view!

Our App is regularly updated, therefore we are far beyond the original release of our App. You will see revised and added functionality to our App which is always ongoing depending on what you want it to be.

This App comes with a completely redesigned visualiser with custom colour selection by swipe motion in 3 different styles.

Use it as a drum pad, music player or sound board. Check our video, where, you will probably guess it!

Sounds can be anything from famous movie quotes and sound FX or rather your own recorded voice or that of a friend or pet, for example.


Our app is based on a real world device we called Funbox.

The idea was to have it in your car, in your living room or wherever you go to play funny or serious sounds when life becomes boring or whenever it's sensible to unleash the beast.

We loved it and decided to release it to the world.

If our drum machine is used no changes can be made, it is built in and can’t be changed at this point as it is designed to show what the App is capable of.

The app consists of 9 sound buttons with preloaded sounds and an action button, which is used to handle sound loading, 6 or 9 button view and reset to default sounds.

The sound buttons are used for playing or loading sounds.

The 6 button view uncovers the audio visualiser.

3 Visualisers are now available and can be customised to any colour combination.

Your visualiser and customisations are remembered on startup, even when the device shuts down.

The app uses the microphone when a sound is played to draw the display.

An info button is used to display instructions on how to use the app.


Specs/Permissions:

- The App is 100% tablet-ready and tested thoroughly, this is demonstrated in our video and images.

- Mic Permission is used to draw visualiser only. The app does not record anything!

- The app is only using portrait screen mode as it provides the best possible representation.

- Minimum Android version is 5.0 Lollipop.

- Up to 9 buttons can be assigned to any sound file, that is saved on your device memory (internal or external).

- The sound formats we tested successfully on all android versions are .wav , .mp3 , .m4u , .ogg

- The app itself does not record sounds but any android phone has a voice or sound recorder that can be used to create sounds for the app.


Activ8sound is intended for everyone, and is free.


Our intention is to update our apps regularly for free to add new features and functions that could make it an even better App completely in your control.
