National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) Mobile App is aiming to assist candidates to prepare for the "Engineering Law and Ethics" exam, a prerequisite for the Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) licence or any other licences that are administered by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). For more information on the exam, please visit http://www.peo.on.ca.

This Mobile Application is designed to significantly reduce exam preparation time by focusing on only the important definitions that have historically appeared in the past exams and/or have been frequently repeated in the materials referenced by PEO. In addition, this app provides candidates with a bank of recent and past exams to give them an edge to benchmark and test their progress during study; all the solutions to these exams are also provided. Please note, in Ontario the Professional Practice Exam is not offered in a multiple choice format.

In this Mobile Application, two study methods are suggested: Structured and Random. In the Structured method, study materials are presented in coherence with the PEO's references, whereas, in the Random method, contents are presented in a random order. The exams provided may also be studied in a sequential or in a random fashion.

Q. Why this app needs to be online to work?
A. In addition to help us creating an extremely lightweight app (there is no static text), which doesn't demand excessive amount of resources (storage, memory, etc.) on your device to run, it enable us to update app content seamlessly and on the fly. In designing this app, we were inspired by apps like Facebook and Instagram which are excelled in providing their users with updates based on the same mentioned principle.
