In this post, I am going to show you how to install MedControl on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install MedControl using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "MedControl" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

MedControl is a useful work tool for healthcare professionals.

Created by a Nursing Assistant of the Canary Islands Health Service, designed to facilitate the control and withdrawal of both drugs and consumables expired in health centers, ambulances, consultations, car stops, etc.

DESCRIPTION

In MedControl, the medicines and sanitary material that are in your service are registered: Name, expiration date and determined stock.

Afterwards, you just have to indicate a search date and the app shows a list of the material and drugs that have expired and must be removed. The update of the expiration date is done with a single click.

MedControl records the expired units of each product. It allows you to generate reports that contemplate the frequency with which a drug or material expires and the units that are discarded. Ideal to be aware of actual consumption, readjust orders and stock.

The generated reports can be sent by email from the same application.

The App facilitates teamwork with connection in real time. This helps all members of a department to save and view the stock of services from their mobile.

Because many professionals rotate through several departments, MedControl allows each healthcare provider to have access to several services protected by a password on their device.

To record the drugs in the stock, it is not necessary to write the full name of the drug. The application provides a drug search engine with a total of 4825 items. Even so, it is possible to increase the list, or upload to the application the list of drugs that your service has.

To register the materials, the application provides a searched with 1049 elements. As with medicines, it is possible to upload a personalized list with the sanitary or fungible materials that your service has.

It has an intuitive environment that aims to facilitate its use.
