With over 150,000 GPS tracks and points of interest, you can search for trails around you (when you're already in the country, and would like to know what hiking trails are nearby), or you can search for hiking trails near a town or country to help you plan your trip.

With OpenStreetMap's wonderful maps, you can view the route itinerary, and the main points of interest (POIs) around it. Once you have found a route of your choice, you can download it in KML format (so you can follow the track later with OruxMaps, Google Mytracks or any other GPS navigator), or you can save it in your favorites list, so you can consult it whenever you want.
