"Perennials" is an application that is developed for Swedish growth conditions. It contains almost 1000 different species and varieties, and up to 800 inspiring images and lots of useful information. Its simple interface makes it easy to use and you can quickly get information and suggestions for perennials and bulbs. The database is integrated into the application so that you do not need to be online when looking for information.

"Perennials" has three main functions:

* A list showing perennials in alphabetical order and can be sorted by Swedish name, botanical name, or plant family. There is also a text search function, so you can quickly find a plant name that you are looking for.

* All images in the app can be presented in a brief gallery.

* Using a unique filtering feature, you can combine multiple plant traits and get a hit list that shows the plants that fit. In your search, you can combine color, flowering time, height, habitat, soil type and hardiness. You can thus quickly find that hardy, blue perennial that blooms in the summer and fits in your particular shady discount. Once you find the plants you like, you can add these to your favorites list to quickly find them again.

Each plant species is presented with a detailed plant description, containing information on hardiness, appearance, habitat, planting distances and propagation. Note that the app does not contain all perennials and bulbs that can be grown in Sweden. To facilitate the different management and propagation step, is linked video lessons step-by-step shows you how to perform each step. These video lessons are not in the application, but requires access to the Internet. Remember that data traffic can incur additional charges depending on the type of subscription you have.

The application is also detailed information on planting, care instructions and what maintenance operations to be performed at any time of year.

The application is developed in collaboration between the Information Partners AB and developer Björn Lindahl.
