After the war had to be a series of buildings rebuilt. The largest construction effort was the implementation of the General Extension, which the western suburbs and Buitenveldertbaan were provided.

The selection is based on the top 100 lists of monuments of the rich and of the church. There are of course between homes, but also many schools, churches, bridges and commercial buildings, and some complete neighborhoods.

The buildings are easy to find by using maps and lists, grouped by function and district.

All buildings are photographed and have a description.

The app also contains over seventy concise biographies of architects reconstruction and urban expansion have given shape. They are acquaintances as Marius Duintjer and Mart Stam, but also many lesser known names.
