BPPV Relief: Your Educational Guide to Understanding and Managing Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a common condition affecting the inner ear's balance system, leading to dizziness and vertigo. This educational tool is designed to help both health professionals and patients better understand BPPV through easy-to-follow animations that demonstrate commonly recommended diagnostic tests and treatment maneuvers.

Key Features:

Educational Animations: Our animations visually guide you through the diagnostic tests for the posterior and horizontal canals, highlighting the direction of eye movements (nystagmus) associated with a positive test. This feature is intended to enhance the ability of health professionals to detect and interpret nystagmus in a clinical setting.

Treatment Visualization: The animations also demonstrate the most commonly used treatment maneuvers, showing how the semicircular canals move in tandem with head movements. These visual aids are designed to enhance understanding of the repositioning process, as crystals within the ear are guided out of the canal during treatment.
