Eyeblink App measures the eye-blink duration of the driver and also identifies if the driver yawns. A loud audio alarm is heard by the driver advising them to pull over and take a rest. Eye-blink duration is widely acknowledged through research to be a good indicator of driver fatigue. The duration of a blink is on average 100-150 milliseconds according to the UCL Institute of Neurology and between 100-400 ms according to the Harvard Database of Useful Biological Numbers. Closures in excess of 1000 ms are defined as micro-sleeps.

Eyeblink App enables the user to change the threshold settings for the alarms. This is vital to allow for individual differences and prevent false alarms.

Eyeblink App also incorporates an exposure setting to increase the light during night time driving.

For best results place your phone on the sun visor or at the top of your windscreen so your face is as close to the phone as possible. This will help eliminate any false alarms.

Once the alarm goes off the driver is able to tap the screen and turn the alarm off. If the alarm is going off too early make sure you adjust the alarm settings by tapping the settings icon top right.

Eyeblink App is your own personal co-driver keeping you awake on those long drives.

Eyeblink App will save your life.

Eyeblink App is suitable for Truck Drivers, Couriers, Taxi Drivers, Mining and anyone who regularly drives long distances.

This is the only driver fatigue app on the market that uses eye blink duration technology and enables the user to adjust this technology to suit their own circumstances.

This app includes a blue light for night time driving that illuminates the face in a gentle non-distracting manner. The blue light will also help keep you awake. Research has shown blue light delays release of the sleep hormone melatonin.

There are no false alarms with this app once you apply your personal settings. This app just works. No false alarms and you feel like there is someone next to you keeping you awake and warning you if you get tired.

This app is a must for anyone concerned about falling asleep at the wheel.
