In this post, I am going to show you how to install Astro Compass Pro on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Astro Compass Pro using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Astro Compass Pro" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Astro Compass Pro is a unique, high-precision professional instrument that is unlike any other compass in history. Find your way, day or night, and in any weather. Orientation has never been so precise and easy. There are no ads, and no cell service is required.

Astro Compass Pro uses GPS data to calculate the position in the sky of the Sun and the Moon using advanced astronomical algorithms with accuracy down to 0.01 degree. By orienting your device with the Sun or Moon as instructed in the easy-to-follow help screens, the compass then accurately aligns with the Earth at your location.

Five unique aiming modes are provided, including standard magnetic field sensing as a fallback when the Sun or Moon are not visible, allowing you to orient yourself to the cardinal points of the Earth both day and night and in any weather.

Way-points are provided, one labeled for your car, and the other for your camp, although you can use these to mark any locations you want to return to, or to any point on the Earth by entering its latitude and longitude. Distance and direction to each way-point is constantly displayed in your choice of English or Metric units. All data and settings are retained for the next use, even when you cycle the power on your device.

For example, you might have a favorite fishing hole in the woods. You can enter the latitude and longitude for this spot as your "camp" way-point as you prepare for your expedition. As you hike through the woods, the camp pointer will continuously point you in the right direction, and let you know your distance from the spot.

Standard magnetic compass accuracy can be poor, due to nearby metal objects, and due to normal variations in the Earth's magnetic field. Also, the declination, or error between magnetic north and geographical north, varies widely all across the country and around the world. By using the Sun and Moon instead, these problems are completely eliminated, and true geographical north is found with high accuracy.
