Step By Step Guide To Install Nikon Dslr Remote & Dslr Settings Organizer using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

This feature provides functionality similar to User Modes [U1, U2] functionality to all Nikon camera models. Unlimited Settings Profile can be created for different shooting scenarios.

All Supported Settings in Settings menu. App consumes Nikon API extensively and provide settings and options for almost all of the settings supported by Nikon API. Customized settings menu for each camera model is shown. Some of the settings in camera may not be available in app based on connected camera model.

Customizable App menu for current shooting scenario. Favourite settings for current shooting scenario can be chosen to display in app screen. So setting can be changed in just a click, instead of accessing settings menu and find setting to change.

Watches and Alerts on camera setting. App watch for settings and provide alerts on screen when any of the setting is not as per your needs. You can create an Alert Rule to show alert if ISO goes beyond, a customizable value, say 800. Currently app provides alerts on Ev, Remaining Pics, ISO, RAW, BKT, Battery level.

Backup or copy camera settings. With App’s Copy Settings From Camera feature, all settings supported by the app can be copied from camera and be saved in the app. This is very helpful, even for photographers who don’t need tethering, to quickly copy and save it to apply it later.

PC Host mode for full control. In PC Host mode, app gets full control on camera, so [MASP] U1, U2, Lv Selector & Release mode can be changed from app. With PC Mode and Settings Profile/Bank, any camera model can have User modes U1, U2 like functionality.

Verify if camera settings are good to go. Current camera settings can be quickly verified against a saved Settings Profile/Bank and get list of camera settings that differ from Settings Profile/Bank.

Developer Notes :
Not all cameras support all the settings through remote tethering. Camera settings menu will differ based on the connected camera model. If you don’t see a setting listed in settings menu, chances are that it is not supported by Nikon API through tethering for the connected camera model. However, please write to us and we’ll check and add it if it is supported by Nikon API.
