DRIVOOL application infrastructure with a core integrated technology of real time GPS tracking system consists of three android (to be extended to iOS platform) mobile based applications namely “Admin Console” (“AC”), “Driver’s End” (“DE”) and “Vehicle Tracker” (“VT”). These three application linked with a common server to exchange geo-location.
Admin Console: Infrastructure control application for user management & remote operation
Remote operation: The application has remote monitoring feature to access the vital health statistics (Network type, GPS status, available memory, Battery charge status) and GPS switch on/off capability of DE mobile device remotely through AC. To enable unmanned operation of DE, the vehicle based mobile phone with DE application can be kept in well ventilated Lock box attached permanently in the vehicle with continuous charging arrangement.
Authentication procedures: To keep application highly secure, DRIVOOL leverage google authentication infrastructure to authenticate the Gmail ID of user registered with their android mobile. Each Gmail ID registered with vehicle end and end user mobile phone must be authenticated through AC for these devices to get the access. There is no separate unnecessary password ID requirement. Admin Console possess super user access for user management. Application can be used both in public and private access mode.
Routes & alerts: Vehicle transit route and pickup/drop point along with time schedule can be set through AC using user interface. Route and pickup/drop point can be named as per client’s preference. Application allows to set different pickup & drop routes/points if applicable. Alerts can also be set for various listed parameters.
System management: There is bulk update feature available which can be used for quick setup by using Excel based tool or Exposed API in specific data format.
