Lexicon of Aboriginal Terms is a BlackCard initiative to help people to become more informed about: Aboriginal people, Aboriginal culture, and Aboriginal communities in general. There are many Aboriginal people and many Aboriginal perspectives. This Lexicon has been developed from an Aboriginal perspective and does not purport to be “the be all” of all things Aboriginal. BlackCard hopes that the Lexicon may be helpful to all peoples.

The Lexicon is presented in the format of a dictionary so it reads from “A” to “Z”. At the back of the Lexicon are appendices of notes, articles and listed publications that may be of interest.
