Install all the apps for which you want to creat icons in your device and then, with one single click, export and create the appfilter.xml and drawable.xml files with all the information needed. Finally simply add the icons you created and check the names are matching with the ones in the file, and you are ready to go!

Both files are created and stored in a new folder named IPDT Data inside the root folder in your device. Use an File explorer to read/share/export them or simply plug your device to your PC/MAC and get the files from it.

Don't forget to manually add the information for preinstalled apps in some brand devices (Samsung, HTC, ASUS, etc...), which you won't be able to install.

You will save a lot of time on codding so you will be able to spend more time on icons design.
