Naughty Corner is a timer designed for use with 'Time Out' discipline technique for improving behavior in some children (not all). Some called in the Naughty Step, some just Time Out but either way a simple repeatable, set once timer that's kids can understand helps a lot.
Easier for parents
* A simple repeatable timer that work with no fuss. You don't want to be clicking 10 buttons while getting your screaming child to sit in the corner. You set the duration once and it launches with the timer starting and restarts the timer when you touch the screen.
* A timer that keeps your screen awake so you and the child can see the countdown for the duration.
Easier for children
* A visual key, the app going from red to white over time and going green when the time is over. This lets the children know that they are still in a time out and reinforces that when they misbehave in timeout that the process restarts. Without the visual reference it can be an abstract idea that the time is restarting for small children, reducing the effectiveness of the technique.
