This app is great for those crafters and those who are color blind. It allows the user to take a picture and discover the color name and RGB number for any pixel in the picture. The same can be done with any picture from the devices Gallery. Additionally, this app is great for people who need to identify paint colors because the Info button gives the closest standard RAL® and Pantone® color numbers. For embroidery enthusiasts you also get the closest DMC®, Anchor®, and J. P. Coats® embroidery floss numbers.

Key Features:
● Identifies colors on the screen
● Works with Gallery Images or live pictures
● Provides color names
● Identifies RGB numbers
● Converts to RAL® color number
● Converts to Pantone® color number
● Converts to DMC® floss color number
● Converts to Anchor® floss color number
● Converts to J. P. Coats® floss color number

Color Picker opens with a live camera view. You can zoom in and out as with any camera app. Once you're satisfied with the subject matter, push the large round button at the bottom.

Color Picker will display the captured image, but does not save it to your device. This prevents a lot of unnecessary photo files on your device. You can now use the center icon on the upper row to pick points on the screen. Color Picker will give the exact RGB (Red-Blue-Green) color number of the pixel selected and the closest matching color name.

Color Picker also allow you to open any image stored on your device in your Gallery. Select the Gallery icon from the upper row and it will open your Gallery. Once open you can pan and zoom to the area of the image that is of interest. Again just like with the photo, you can now use the center icon on the upper row to pick points on the screen. Color Picker will give the exact RGB (Red-Blue-Green) color number of the pixel selected and the closest matching color name.

By selecting the Information icon from the upper row, Color Picker will give the closest standard RAL® and Pantone® color numbers, It will also list the closest numbers of the three top brands of embroidery floss, DMC®, Anchor® and J. P. Coats®.

A brief word of warning; Color Picker gives you the color of the particular pixel selected. In any photo shown on a phone each color is shown with a variety of similar but different colors to create the images.
