In this post, I am going to show you how to install The Navigation Teacher on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install The Navigation Teacher using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. This well presented - on a single screen - application calculates the shortest distance between any two points on Earth - given the latitude and longitude of both points.

This versatile app has many applications. Only some are listed below -

1. Military.
a. secondary mission navigation.
b. indirect weapons targeting ie. artillery and mortar fire,

2. Police crime scene investigation.
a. cell site dump analysis.

3. Civil Engineering.
a. mining exploration.
b. gas exploration.
c. oil exploration.

4. Global / local distance and course calculation.
a. useful for airline companies, emergency air services and military air services that need to find the shortest and most cost effective routes.

It does not use GPS. Therefore it is always available, regardless of satellite coverage.

You can obtain coordinates, for start and end destinations either by using Google Earth or Google Search.

You can obtain latitude and longitude for cities, towns etc, by searching Google e.g.
"coordinates for New York, USA".

Google will display the answers, which you can copy and paste into the appropriate fields.

The latitudes and longitudes can be entered as decimal values i.e. 51.67897
or as separate degrees, minutes, seconds fields.

Negative degrees are accepted for southern latitudes and western longitudes, respectively.

The distance is given in both miles and kilometers.

A course from point 1 to point 2 is given in degrees, clockwise from due north.
