The TitleIX Enforcer provides an easy and seamless way to examine approximately 9,490 public high schools in the United States for compliance with the Title IX of the United States Education Amendments of 1972 as required for institutions receiving federal funding. Mapping function is provided for locating the high school.
After a user accepts the EULA agreement and configures user preference settings, the user can investigate high schools of interest, enrollment, classification, athletic participation opportunities and those secondary schools with substantial disparities in participation and athletic opportunities. With the TitleIX Enforcer, the user can decide to submit a complaint against a high school district and the application automatically formats an email submission to the correct OCR Office for Civil Rights with the complainants user name, address and email address.
High School enrollment and athletic participation data statistics can also be shared via email with other parties. Future editions of the TitleIX Enforcer will include an expanded database of other equal opportunity factors such as (1) the accommodation of interests and abilities (currently provided); (2) athletic scholarships; (3) equipment and supplies; (4) scheduling of games and practice times; (5) travel and per diem allowances; (6) tutoring; (7) coaching; (8) locker rooms, practice and competitive facilities; (9) medical and training services; (10) housing and dining facilities and services; (11) publicity; (12) support services; and (13) recruitment of student-athletes. Using the TitleIX Enforcer saves the user many hours of research and time investigating high schools of interest, and help the student or parents make the choice of better high school opportunity for their childrens future.
