In this post, I am going to show you how to install IP info Detective Pro on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install IP info Detective Pro using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The app uses publicly available IP blacklists to aggregate the data and present it in an easy readable form to inform the user if an IP address is listed on those lists. There are many use case scenario if an IP is found as listed. For example: your router, after reset, received a new dynamic allocated 'dirty IP' and you don't want to surf the web with it or you find that your IP is mistakenly listed on one of those blacklist and this will allow you to contact the creator of the list to request removal or you are a system admin with hundreds of computers in the network and by scanning your network range you discover that one or more computers IP addresses are blacklisted, a close investigation of those machines would be a good idea. And so on...

This permission is required by Google Maps Android API v2.
