Step By Step Guide To Install SMART Coop DCA using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. SMART Cooperative App is web and mobile based application for farmers who are involved in commercial vegetable farming and the cooperatives which have vegetable collection centre and used to collect vegetable from commercial farmers for collective marketing. This integrated information platform will establish linkages with co-operatives, their farmer members, extension workers and traders to collect, manage, analysis and approaches to support the value chain of an agricultural product.

The application helps to reduce production cost and improves margins for farmers by recommending the type quantity and dosage of fertilizer for the specific crop based on soil nutrient analysis. In the same way, the app recommends about seasonal and off seasonal crops plantation period based on system generated crop calendar and commercial farmers land soil PH and elevation condition that helps to achieve optimum productivity at a lower cost.

The cooperatives can estimate crop production with the support of a virtual collection feature. The virtual collection feature estimates the expected production quantity and harvesting time in view of plantation record uploaded by the farmers in an app. Similarly, the collection centres can upload collected crops details and quantity into the app. Based on production and expected harvesting time cooperatives can match listed buyers with sellers (collection centres) directly through push notification and creates a market linkage. The cooperative publishes crop(s) for sale by assigning price range and availability details (dates to and from) for the registered traders. The registered traders check about the available crops, place order/communicate with the cooperative representative to negotiate a price through informal channels and place the final order. Then, based on traders’ demand Farmers can sell perishable crops at optimum prices in collection centre run by cooperatives at the fixed interval and avoid crop damages.
