Tere Liye is the pen name of an Indonesian writer. From some of the information circulating on the internet the real name is Dervish. Darwis is one of the writers who have been extending best seller works. Currently he has produced many works, even some of them have been taken to the big screen.

Darwis himself was born on May 21, 1979 in the interior of South Sumatra. He is the sixth child of seven siblings from a farming family.

He went through his elementary school education at SDN 2 Kikim Timur Sumasel, after graduating and then continued to SMPN 2 Kikim Timur, South Sumatra, then received a high school education at SMU 9 Bandar Lampung. He last studied at the Faculty of Economics, UI.

From the marriage of Tere Liye to Mrs.Riski Amelia at the gift of a son named Abdullah Pasai and a daughter named Faizah Azkia.

When he was a writer, Darwis made his name in each of his works but with a unique pen name, Tere Liye. Tere Liye itself is taken from the Indian language which has meaning for you.

Tere Liye's work usually revolves around the knowledge, morals and religion of Islam. Its unique and simple delivery is an added value for each novel.
