Salat prayers five times a day is fard (obligatory prayer) is performed five times a day. This prayer is the law of Fard 'Ain, which must be implemented by every Muslim who has the age of consent (puberty), but was unable to because of certain reasons.
The five daily prayers is one of the five Pillars of Islam. Allah revealed the order of prayer when Isra 'Mi'raj.
The five daily prayers are:
Dawn, consisted of two cycles. Fajr time starting from the emergence of dawn shaddiq, ie white light across the eastern horizon. Fajr time ends when the Sun publication.
Noon, consisting of 4 cycles. Zhuhur time begins when the Sun has slipped (biased) to the west, and ends when the incoming Asr time.
Asar, consisting of 4 cycles. Asr time begins when the long shadows of objects exceeds the length of the object itself. Especially for madhhab Imam Hanafi, Ahsar time starts when the long shadows of objects exceeds twice the length of the object itself. Asar time ended with the setting sun.
Sunset, consisting of three cycles. Maghrib time begins with the setting sun, and ending with the entry Isha time.
Isha, consisting of 4 cycles. Isha time begins with the disappearance of the red light (syafaq) in the western sky, and lasted until dawn the next day shaddiq. According to Shiism, Isha Salat should be done after Maghrib Salat work.
Special on Friday, Muslim men are required to implement the Friday prayers at the mosque in congregation (together) as a substitute Salat Dhuhr. Friday prayers are not compulsory carried out by women, or for those who are on the way (the traveler).
Based on the hadith of Abdullah ibn Umar, the Prophet Muhammad said: Noon Prayer Time if the sun has slipped, and in the shadow of a person's state of the same length during the time not yet entered Asar. And when the Asr until the sun is not yellow (sunset). And Maghrib prayer time for yet mega red sunset. And Isha prayers till mid night half section. Morning Prayer Time from dawn until before the rising sun. (Saheeh Muslim)
