In this post, I am going to show you how to install Soteria App on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Soteria App using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Soteria App" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Named after the Greek goddess of safety and deliverance from harm, Soteria is an all-in-one security application that aims at creating a safe and healthy community of people with access to the concerned authorities as well as each other. An important feature of this app is that it sends an alert to everyone near you informing them that you are in danger. We believe we are promoting humanity by connecting people in need to those who are willing to help. A sense of accountability is instilled in all those who receive this help message and persuades them to help those in need.

Not only does it help people escape or counter unsafe circumstances, it also helps them prepare for these situations through its section on self defence tips. Further, it helps one deal with the aftermath of transgressions by informing users of the remedies they can seek and the courses of actions they must take.

In the dystopian society we live in today, it becomes imperative to have faith in the establishment, each other, in and ourselves, all of which Soteria is here for.

Features of the app:
1. An SOS button that not only informs authorities and loved ones but also everyone in proximity.
2. Sends your location when SOS button is pressed, making it easier for people to reach you.
3. A self defence and safety tips section to prepare for unsafe situations.
4. A feature that enables users to find out if they are in a safe location. (As of now, only for Delhi users)
5.A "Tracking" button which gives you details like your latitude, longitude and address in case you are in a remote location and wish to share it with someone.
