In this post, I am going to show you how to install BigCall on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install BigCall using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "BigCall" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

Download & Install NoxPlayer at: https://www.bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
Drag the APK/XAPK file to the NoxPlayer interface and drop it to install

It applies to people with difficulty to use the small buttons / icons on the Android mobile phones like people:

• With Parkinson
• With Dementia
• Senior citizens

• Low visioned people

The above people need to have easier access to touch screen mobiles. The tiny buttons make it difficult for them to succeed in calling or accepting a phone call.

The BigCall application facilitates their calling and is expected to COMPENSATE for their accessibility problem. It is also expected to contribute to their effort for everyday communication through their mobile phones and to satisfy their needs for more social interaction / integration.

How it works:
Has only three screens (Settings, Callout, Stop call)
1. Start the App from the icon.
2. You are taken to the Settings screen. If you do not want to change settings you
        wait for 4 seconds and it takes you to the Callout screen. Use Edit Mode, from
        Settings Screen to change Settings. Default Settings are approved by 96% of the
        users, so in reality most likely you do not need to do any changes.
3. On Callout screen press the buttons with numbers (numbers are scanned) to type t
        the number you want to call.
4. If you make a mistake use Delete to delete one number at a time. If you want to
        delete the whole number press continuously the Delete button
5. By the time you press Call button your call begins and you are sent to the Stop call
        screen.
6. At the same time the Speakers are set to on so that you hear the other speaker.
7. Press on the Stop button to stop the call.
8. To Exit press Home button on your Mobile.

The App has been designed by Pantelis Makris (UNDP Expert in Technology) and was developed to help people who have difficulty to press small buttons on an Android mobile phone.

Minor Bug fixes.
1.Scanning timer crash.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
