Born in 2006 as the main activities of the Association childhood Signs, Signs New Generations Festival is a unique event in Italy, an international event of art and theater aimed at children and young people aged 18 months to 18 years. The event is dedicated to schools, families and all those who love the theater, research and the languages ​​of the arts. It involves viewers transgenerational level, and internationally since it also caters to foreign tourists. Artists from various countries around the world perform in shows, workshops, art courses, multidisciplinary performances where music, painting, theater, sculpture, dance mingle in a continuous contamination between the arts and non-verbal language that are accessible to viewers of all ages and backgrounds.
Over 300 events in five days in the most beautiful location of the city of Mantova. Palazzo Ducale, Teatro Bibiena, the Capuchin Hall, Palazzo Te, Palazzo Broletto and many other areas of the city that are transformed for the occasion into theater spaces to be discovered.
Every year the festival is represented by an animal designed by the greatest artists like Dario Fo, Altan, Berger, Sanna, Moretti, it becomes the symbol of the, creating an artistic operation that involves the creation of a collective work over 5000 participants from all over Italy.
SIGNS takes place annually in Mantua between the last week of October and 1 November, recorded a growing success demonstrating the need for a strong artistic proposal for the new generations and to guarantee the quality of the artistic project has obtained the Adhesion the President of the Republic in the form of representation Prize.
