The SIPNEI Italian Society of Psycho Neuro Endocrine Immunology (PNEI) promotes change in care, in scientific research and in human relations.

The Psiconeuroendocrinoimmunology studies the human organism as a whole and in its fundamental relationship with the environment, wider sense of the term.

The SIPNEI, Italian Society of Psycho Neuro Endocrine Immunology promotes the study of the human organism as a whole and in its fundamental relationship with the environment, wider sense of the term. To this end it promotes change in care, in scientific research and in human relations.

The SIPNEI was founded in 2000 by a group of scholars and researchers and has now spread throughout the country with about 350 members organized in 12 regional sections. The members are mostly doctors and psychologists, but many are also other health professionals and researchers in the life sciences and the humanities.

The SIPNEI pursues the goal of establishing an integrated, scientifically founded, medicine and psychology, as part of a new, higher, scientific and cultural synthesis that will lead to a breakthrough, both in the human body to function both in understanding care and health maintenance.

Each year the SIPNEI organizes two editions of the basic training course. The purpose of the course is the training of the participating partners to SIPNEI, but it is also addressed to doctors, psychologists and other professionals who are non-members interested in studying Psiconeuroendocrinoimmunology.

With 2012 on key clinical issues with a view to enhancing the interdisciplinary nature of knowledge and the level of skills of the partners and operators that have as reference the PNEI and integrated care a series of Consensus Conference and Workshop began.

The company finally is working with major Italian universities for the establishment of Master in PNEI and the inclusion of the discipline in university curricula. Since 2012 is active at the Faculty of Medicine of Perugia, a center of Terni, the Master's Degree in Integrated management of the optical stress PNEI www.unipg.it

In the academic year 2012-2013 the University of Aquila has set up a series of seminars on PNEI, with credits, for students of medicine, psychology and biology, taught by Francesco Bottaccioli.

Since the academic year 2013/2014, they will be activated the Masters I and II level at the University of L'Aquila

PNEI News, bimonthly directed by Francesco Bottaccioli, came in fifth year of life. It features articles and essays on the entire range of disciplines related to PNEI.
