In this post, I am going to show you how to install Color Rush on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play Color Rush using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Color Rush" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

This game is based on Stroop's Effect!
In psychology, the Stroop effect is a demonstration of interference in the reaction time of a task. When the name of a color (e.g., "blue", "green", or "red") is printed in a color not denoted by the name (e.g., the word "red" printed in blue ink instead of red ink), naming the color of the word takes longer and is more prone to errors than when the color of the ink matches the name of the color. The effect has been used to create a psychological test (Stroop test) that is widely used in clinical practice and investigation.
The Stroop effect has been widely used in psychology. Among the most important uses is the creation of validated psychological tests based on the Stroop effect permit to measure a person’s selective attention capacity and skills, as well as their processing speed ability. It is also used in conjunction with other neuropsychological assessments to examine a person’s executive processing abilities, and can help in the diagnosis and characterization of different psychiatric and neurological disorders.
Researchers also use the Stroop effect during brain imaging studies to investigate regions of the brain that are involved in planning, decision-making, and managing real-world interference (e.g. texting and driving).

How to play:
•The game begins with unspoilt 60 seconds each time.
•You will be shown a word(name of a color) and you will have to identify that, with which color, is the word written with(whilst ignoring the content of the word shown!).
•There are 9 colors namely orange, blue, cyan, pink, red, yellow, green, white and purple.
•Identify by choosing from options, which will also be displayed on the screen.
•Earn points by giving correct answers. Incorrect answers will result in negative points so answer very carefully!
•Compete with your family members and friends and see who scores higher!
Tip:Since incorrect answers have negative points,tap on an empty are on screen to pass the question!
