Welcome to your home. Welcome to the cultural landscape. Welcome to KuLaDig -
the information system for those who want to learn about the landscape cultural heritage.
An old city wall. A castle. A disused factory. An avenue.
KuLaDig brings dumb testimonies of the past and traces of history to speak. Texts explain backgrounds, pictures give an impression of reality or show historical situations.

The application is published by the Landschaftsverband Rheinland. The interdisciplinary KuLaDig editorial team ensures the quality of the presented objects in terms of form and content. Currently, the data focus is in the Rhineland. The database is constantly being supplemented. In addition to the app, KuLaDig is also available as a web application at www.kuladig.lvr.de.

Some core features of the app:
- Location inquiry via GPS
- Location of the objects by a geometry
- Preview of many objects through photos
- Explanations of the history of the objects
- References to similar or related objects
- Object search via map or search mask
- Transfer of search results to a favorites list
- Thematic search result display (filter)
- List view with distance indication of objects to the location
- Transfer of the object coordinates to a pre-installed on your device Navigationsapp
- Display on OpenStreetMap or satellite map
- Follow a story and take the KuLaTouren on a discovery tour: Interesting topics are now displayed directly as KuLaTouren bundled. They are suggestions for a topic-specific discovery of the environment. The order of the objects is indicated by a number symbol. When the route is selected, these numbers are displayed in red in the map view. Unselected KuLaTours are grayed out. The navigation is done externally by the coordinate transfer to any navigation system. KuLaTours are hidden in the theme view by default! For a search for tours the check mark must be set here.
Of course, own tours can still be put together by taking over any objects in the favorites list.
- Click on the start picture to get to the corresponding KuLaDig object entry.
