The Heritage Centre has identified two trails that take you through the living heritage of IIT Madras.Walking along these trails, you can take an informed look at the institute. You could cover each in around half an hour of steady walking, or you could stop frequently and spend much more time because there is much to see.

Walk along the trails only in the daytime, when there is a bright light. It is very warm between March and October – and rainy in November and December and occasionally in other months – so take the necessary precautions.

Ensure that you do not stray from the suggested paths or roads into the vegetation. And do not feed or interact with any animals.

Enjoy yourself!
