The Workshop Video & Multimedia, created in 2006 and based in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, presents the first web magazine dedicated to Guyanese West. This website is part of the logic "local media" and aims to democratize information in the adjoining towns and villages in the Maroni River and popularize a news too little known by the Guyanese community.

This project is based on a citizen ethics (fight against discrimination, protect the environment, promote social diversity ...) and seeks to promote civic actions, local cultures and initiatives around the ideas of a just, sustainable and secured.

In "Columnists Citizens" project, AVM crosses the river to discover the multimedia journalist.
