The Adventist Church Marco was founded in 1979 and is part of the North Para Association (NAFA) in North Brazil Union (UNB) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Seventh-day Adventists, with over 17 million members worldwide, is a Protestant Christian church organized in 1863 in the United States.
