In this post, I am going to show you how to install Pinacoteca on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Pinacoteca using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Pinacoteca" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Pinacoteca is a mobile application from the University of Concepción that seeks to enrich the experience of visitors on a tour of its permanent exhibition halls and knowledge Mural Presence in Latin America. Thinking of bringing art to children, you have a child profile with games and age-appropriate information.
The main features included in this first release are:
• 2 user profiles: Child and General, which determine the content and the activities associated with the visit of the mural and the works of the exhibition halls.
• Mural: access to additional information of the symbolism present in this work through audio and augmented reality technology.
• Guided tour: through the iBeacon (Estimotes) technology can make a guided tour of works available. Just enough to approach a work to access extended content.
• Works provides access to information about the work and the author's biography. It is supplemented with audio. Also, you can bookmark to then access a list of them.
• Games: each work is associated with an interactive game (eg puzzles, find the differences, store, etc.), which gives score to be played.
• Notifications: allows you to receive announcements of new exhibits and information of interest relating to activities of the Art Gallery of the University of Concepción.
