Reviewing traditional forms of teaching that practiced submission and passivity of students in the learning process, it became a democratic space where everyone participates with their ideas, criticisms and suggestions. Sees education as a necessary aid for the construction of the knowledge produced by mankind throughout its history. Turns his attention to individual differences, believing that learning depends on the unique characteristics of each learner.
The Lubienska in its "Praxis" works to tailor their proposals to the real possibilities of each student and student, launching challenges to help them advance their knowledge, directing their work towards the construction of knowledge; know-how and being. In this sense, it is important that pupils and students to learn, learning to consider not only the content but also the organization and acting in the pursuit of knowledge.
The Helena Lubienska Institute began only with early childhood education and has included special children in their classrooms. Over the years, new classes were being formed in a gradual process. In 1977 we came to the first 8th grade class and in 1997 inaugurávamos high school.
