This app sends ascii characters from the phone to a bluetooth module connected to a microcontroller.
the arrow-up sends a "a" when pressed and "A" when released, the arrow-down does the same but with "b" and "B".
The other 4 buttons send a single character per click.
"set position 1" sends "i"
"set position 2" sends "h"
"goto position 1" sends "d"
"goto position 2" sends "c"
"Exit app" just does that.
On my application I have the circuit send "a" or "b" back to the phone when the limit is reached, resulting as a "Maximum Position" on the app screen.
The goto position buttons do a similar thing on my circuit when the position is reached, the phone receives a "c" or "d",the screen will state that the position was reached.
This is my first app that I published...so I hope all goes well.
I am using a picaxe microcontroller for this project with a HC-05 bluetooth module.
i use the picaxe 20m2 for my project , because I need some extra pins for IR connections so If anyone asks for me to send my picaxe code the code will have code in there not just dedicated for this bluetooth app.
As of right now I am working on a "set time " version of this app. that will open the blinds at a certain time and close at another set time. To make this circuit work, the HC-05 is important to use. I tried to use the HC-06 it just would not work for me. I can send code and schematics if anyone needs help to get some ideas for your own build. Contact me at j.vianelli@gmail.com
