Poslaním Gallery negligees is to provide all those interested in art the opportunity to get acquainted with the works of the most important artists tvoriacich in Slovakia since the late 19th century to the present. The idea to establish a non-profit organization that is devoted to these activities, founded only a few years ago and fairly quickly began to transform into a real project. Contributed to the fact that people who have it enthusiastically seized a short time not only built a high-quality collection of fine art, but also created the conditions for its professional placement in the building that today, after reconstruction, one of the most beautiful buildings of this type in Slovakia.

At the time of its official foundation it has a collection of more than five hundred Gallery negligees works of art, and gallery continues its acquisition activities. Activities of the NGO potrebám to serve the public and professionals. Thanks to the professional activity at a high level, the gallery intends to reach out to international visitors, students of art schools, collectors and art lovers who are about to offer a variety of interesting events and high-quality exhibition from the works of local authors.
 
Negligees gallery is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2012. Its founders have set a target presented to the public through their work activities of Slovak art of the 20th century. Gallery strives negligees is gradually collect and systematically process and present 20th century works of art with an overlap in the late 19th and early 21st century, incurred in Slovakia. The focus of the collection lies in painting, but are represented and sculpture and graphics. In the exhibition spaces on four floors of a permanent exposition dedicated to the birth and development of modernism Slovakia, which provides a picture of the history of painting and sculpture in Slovakia in the 20th century. Through around 160 major paintings and sculptures, visitors can make relatively comprehensively idea of ​​Slovak art scene of that period.
