Hoppy Race on Windows Pc

Hoppy Race is a racing game played in a voxel world. You can play with a character among various characters modelled as voxel animals and such. Each character has a unique ability that give an advantage over other players. It can be used for laying traps, or trapping enemies for a while. For example, bat uses its ability to send sound waves that confuses opponents, starfish uses its ability to heal itself, and chameleon sets up camouflaged traps.

The race takes place in a stadium-like ring, surrounded by trees, spotlights, and voxel characters as the audience. All players move forward automatically by hopping, and can turn left and right. Whenever they land on a tile, they will color it. This color (red/blue/yellow/green) is special for each player and it is assigned to each player at the start of the game.

The race consists of several rounds, each lasting 20 seconds. The ring that the racing takes place 100 tiles. To win a round, you must color the most tiles in the ring before time runs out. Coloring tiles is easy, but your enemies will try to beat you by setting up traps, and using their abilities. A tile can be re-colored even if it is colored before. Every 6 seconds, a power-up box will be spawned with a parachute. Collecting it will give you certain advantages. Such as, slowing down or stunning all opponents, or speeding you up. Make sure you do not leave power-up boxes to your opponents if you want to win.

At the end of the race, you will be rewarded with experience and coins. The reward increases with the number of rounds that you won. Experience is given to the character that you play with. When a character has enough experience, you can increase its level. Increasing level improves the ability of the character, which improves its trait. For example, when you increase the level of bat, duration of its confusion increases. Playing with higher levelled characters will increase the chances of you being the winner.

There are 13 leaderboards (one for each character, and one global leaderboard) available in the game, where you can compete with players all around the world to be the best racer Hoppy Race has ever seen. Let’s see how further you can hop to the top!

You can play against three opponents, or you can team up with a random player to have a team race. Even though it is easier to win a race as a team, you will get half of the coin rewards, as you are splitting the rewards with your teammate.

There are currently 12 voxel characters. Their abilities have different effects, some sets up traps, some shoots capsules, and some affects itself.

If you are having performance issues, you can lower the quality on settings screen. Lowering quality will surely make your gameplay smoother.
