The project aims Doing Less with the reduction of waste production through a series of actions aimed at all public and private organizations that insist on the territory of the City of Augusta, which are producers of waste.

The campaign for the prevention and minimization of waste in the City of Augusta has the primary objective of raising the perception of the average level of the waste problem and change behavior in order to prevent and reduce the production for the most relevant streams point Having regard to quantity (flow quantity of the total waste products) and qualitative (significant from the point of view of the complexity and of the operating costs).

The application consists of the following sections:
Home: home page, mainly graphics (with the project logo and pictograms of individual actions.

Clicking on a single action leads to part of the information content. The appa follows the graphic line and the logical structure of the entire communication campaign "Do with Less"

The actions of the project submitted and included in the app are:

• San tap: water use awareness tap;
• Eco traders: awareness for waste prevention and reduction in supermarkets and department stores of the City of Augusta.
• Food waste: creating a network of food services against waste, which will undertake to carry out concrete actions aimed at reducing the production of waste and the recovery of leftover food in their activities.
• Composting: experimental project, the second in Italy, which provides for the Community management of organic waste produced also from the kitchens of the House of Imprisonment (fruits and vegetables, food scraps, coffee grounds, etc.).
