The Fuzzy family fully enjoy a wonderful day in the forest. Grandma Fuzzy is busy with her knitting while her husband slowly drowsies in his rocking chair. Father and mother Fuzzy enjoy a picnic and only have eyes for each other. The two youngest offspring, brother and sister Fuzzy, are the sportiest of the bunch. They have brought a ball and throw it in the fresh forest air diligently to each other. They try to make each other as difficult as possible and soon things go wrong. The ball ends up in a hollow tree!

As far as brother Fuzzy is concerned, the fun is not over yet. Without hesitation he dives into the hollow tree to search for the ball. While he is safely in the tree, there is a terrible storm. When he shows up again, the ball has been found but his family has disappeared! Fortunately, he is not alone. A wise raven entrusts him with the secret of the magical stones.
