In the Islamic tradition , the scholars of Islam have written many books in regards to the various daily Adhkar that are said at various times and places throughout a Muslim's life.An example being the morning and evening readings.

There are many benefits that have been mentioned with regards to these Adhkar. Of the greatest of these benefits is that these Adhkar keeps Shaitan away from the person who recites them, and they prevent the evil from mankind and jinn from harming such people. The person who recites these Adhkar on a daily basis builds around himself a fortress to protect himself from his enemy.

Unfortunately, most Muslims today are ignorant of these Adhkar, and very few recite them on a daily basis. Today even the West has realized that there is great benefit in rituals before work and other tasks.

A word of advice: Try to recite ALL the adhkar (remembrances) for the morning and the evening EVERY day. Believe me, they have SO many virtues. Each dua has a virtue so we should try to recite all of them. It might take a while at first but this is one of those acts that is well-worth it.
