The mHospital App was developed to integrate into the existing hospital system and support nursing teams in their inpatient-related activities and procedures through a smartphone or tablet, bringing agility and dynamism.

Among its main features we can highlight:

- Easy patient identification by reading a QR code located on the patient bracelet.

- Checklist of the medical prescriptions (Checklist) that are administered by the nursing at the established times.

- Display of the main patient information contained in the PEP (Electronic Patient Record).

- Recording of the patient's vital signs (Vital Signs History).

- Record of the place where the patient is (Bed History).

The application aims to modernize the traditional procedures, allowing the registration of nursing team services in the system at the very moment they occur, avoiding that the control has to be done on paper for later typing, avoiding rework and the possibility of errors .

The identification of the patient is performed easily and safely by reading the QR code on the patient's bracelet, reducing the possibility of human error. One of the greatest challenges for hospital managers is to ensure the accuracy of inpatient care due to processes that may have human failures.

After integrating our solution to the existing hospital system, each employee of the nursing team who works in the hospital admission units will have their application credential, allowing a greater control and registration of the procedures by the hospital managers.

Project developed in the disciplines of the professors Dr. Henrique Dezani and Dr. Adriana Alvarenga Dezani and presented at the IV Marketing Fair of FATEC São José do Rio Preto.
