App to facilitate the calculations for grades A1 and AF and Media.

Context:

Evaluation Process

It is constituted by a Regimental test (A1) and a set of assessment tools, defined by courses (teachers and coordination), A2.

Regimental test (A1)
Expected in the academic calendar of the University Center, it consists of a test on the value of 0.0 (zero) to 5.0 (five).


Rating (A2)
With note in the amount of 0.0 (zero) to 5.0 (five).

A FINAL NOTE (NF) is the sum of these two notes: A1 + A2.
It is considered approved in the discipline the student who obtains Final Note (NF) equal to or greater than 6.0 (six) and has at least 75% (seventy five percent) frequency to academic activities.

The student who obtains Final Note (NF) of less than 6.0 (six) and has often less than 75% (seventy five percent) will be guaranteed the Final Rating (AF), amounting to 0.0 (zero ) to 5.0 (five), which will replace the lowest score released in A1 or A2. Again it will be calculated NF and, if equal to or greater than 6.0 (six), the student will be considered approved.

Note: Note Rounding
The marks awarded, respectively, A1 and A2 will NOT be rounded. A Final Note (NF), a result of the sum of the scores assigned to A1 and A2, is rounded, observing the following approach criteria:
I - to five tenths (0.5) when the decimal places are expressed by numerals equal to or greater than 0.25 (twenty-five hundredths) and lower than 0.75 (seventy five hundredths) as an example: 5.25 ; 5.3; 5.4; 5.6 and 5.7 to 5.5;
II - to the nearest integer when the decimal numerals below are expressed by 0.25 (twenty-five hundredths), for example: 5.1; and 5.2 to 5.0;
III - up to the next integer, where the decimals are expressed by numerals equal to or greater than 0.75 (seventy five hundredths) as an example: 5.75; 5.8 and 5.9 to 6.0.


Example 1:
A1: 2.3 (no rounding)
A2: 3.6 (no rounding)
NF: A2 = A1 + 2.3 + 3.6 = 5.9 - rounding: 6.0


Example 2:
A1: 3.2 (no rounding)
A2: 2.4 (no rounding)
NF: A2 = A1 + 3.2 + 2.4 = 5.6 - rounding: 5.5

In this context, it was thought to make an App that would facilitate these calculations. Items I and II were not considered because it does not make much difference.
