The Fujitsu Actionable Business Insight Platform (aBiP) augmented reality (AR) app uses some of the very latest technology and techniques, to provide a different approach for training, service and repair.

aBiP AR uses augmented reality workflows to support and guide employees in a variety of different tasks with the aim of being able to complete activities first time, every time.

Consider an employee struggling to fix a paper jam in an office printer. Normally, their first port of call would be to ring the service desk. But with aBiP AR, they can pick up their phone, point it at the printer, and receive detailed, step by step instructions on how to resolve the problem. At each point in the workflow, they're given augmented reality direction on what exactly to look for, so there's no opportunity to misunderstand.

To further support any workflow process, movies, images and 3D content can be added which enhances understanding.

In cases where an employee reaches a final step without a resolution, integration with ServiceNow® means tickets can be automatically raised, but contain all the details on what the user has done, the device they're working on, to reduce the amount of re-assessment needed when the service desk calls back.

aBiP AR can be trained to recognise a significantly large range of objects, devices and imagery within a business environment, with the editor functions providing the ability to update workflows in real time.
Release v1.20 is a minor release of the Fujitsu aBiP Augmented Reality app.

In this version, there has been improvements to the offline mode and ServiceNow Customisation.

Moreover, there has been several bug fixes to improve application stability and performance.
