3. If an opponent's virus is adjacent to a player's virus during chain formation, the player's virus occupies that space, contributing to their viral count.
4. The player with the most substantial viral presence emerges victorious.
5. The chain requirements differ based on the number of players:
- In 2-player matches, a chain of 4 viruses is necessary.
- In 3-player matches, a chain of 3 viruses is required.
- In 4-player matches, a chain of 2 viruses must be achieved.
