In this post, I am going to show you how to install Panic Button on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Panic Button using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Panic Button" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

1. Be sure to give permission by all the required application ״Panic Button״ requests
2. You must select at least one contact, that you trust
3. If in your area have a police or rescue service that accepts SMS, be sure to enter their phone number and save
4. Enter the message, emergency concept and save
5. Try always to keep the GPS location to be on
6. Set the timer, REMEMBER that the timer is also the time to record audio from the start and until the app "Panic Button" is stopped
7. Change the password! The password must consist of 4 digits and easy to remember! If you lose your password, just reinstall the app "Panic Button"
8. The password is necessary only in case of an erroneous start, or in the case of an intentional trying on the part of the offender
9. Choose the mode of launching "Panic Button" that is convenient for you

* How does the Panic Button work?

Since the start of the app "Panic Button", the audio recording of everything that is happening begins and will continue until the application is stopped.
The received satellite data about your location is received and sent along with your previously saved message.
After that, the application "Panic Button" sends the SMS together with a link to the audio record.
