This multimedia application accompanies the exhibition reverbs: art and sound in the collections of MUAC, presented at the University Museum of Contemporary Art of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, from 04 March to 23 July 2017.

The exhibition proposes an approach to artistic collections, documentary and associated museum collections from the audible, ie, which is capable of being heard. The intention is to explore the importance of sound in contemporary art practices, specifically those of Mexican scenes from the sixties. pieces by artists such as Carlos Amorales, Francois and Bernard Baschet, Tania Candiani, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Felipe Ehrenberg, Manuel Felguérez, Mario Garcia Torres, Thomas Glassford, Allan Kaprow, Myra Landau, Yoshua Okon, Carla Rippey, Kazuya Sakai and Krzysztof Wodiczko include , among others.

The app allows the public to know the work that is part of the collections of MUAC, even before visiting the exhibition. Here you can find information on the topics of exhibition curated by Pilar Garcia and Marco Morales, audio guides and Compleo list of the work that integrates. It also includes videos and interactive invite you to delve into the process of realization of the work, its contents or even to know how to listen.
